I am so thrilled to share this amazing wedding captured by Liam at Applehead Studio Photography with you today!
What stood out to me about this wedding was the bride. Her smile is so honest and so full of joy, you really get a sense of her happiness and emotions on the best day of her life.
Robert and Magdalena’s wedding took place in Halifax, Nova Scotia this past June. It rained very hard during their wedding, and despite that minor detail (that yes, even though it’s supposed to bring good luck, it’s every brides worst nightmare) Magda and Robert simply enjoyed their day and partied like it was the brightest day of the year.
As Liam puts it “Magda’s smile lit up the entire day and the love between these two was so tangible and real…it was pretty easy to shoot. I’ll always look back at this wedding and smile.”
About the details: The venue was the Prince George Hotel in Halifax, Nova Scotia and it was elegantly decorated by Avril Mullholand of Update Design. The couple opted for a cupcake tower vs. a traditional cake (something we are defiantly seeing more of this year).
I am so excited to share with you this beautiful destination wedding. I love the beach, so getting married by the beach definitely wins with me. Something about the white of the dress and the contrast of the blues from the ocean – it’s just so perfect.
Toronto couple Marina & Petar were married this past summer in beautiful Runaway Bay Jamaica – on what looked like one of the most perfect days of the year. The wedding was planned by Jennifer Borgh Events (a fabulous Toronto based destination wedding and honeymoon planner) and photographed by Katia Taylor Photography.
When it came to the decor of Marina & Petar’s wedding, it was elegantly decorated with simple and classic touches of blue. Fresh Jamaican flowers and blue ribbons enhanced the decor and the wedding cake (always my personal favourite) was lined with blue butterflies. So cute!
I hope you enjoy this beach wedding as much as I did!
Congratulations Marina & Petar
