Blurb Contest Winner

Last month we held a great contest sponsored by Blurb. We had an overwhelming amount of entries and we are happy to finally announce the winner!  Congratulations to Stephanie! She and her future fiancé won the $50 credit from Blurb!

So what will Stephanie do with that $50 from Blurb?

If we won, we would do a Hardcover photo wrap four our wedding album. Our wedding will be taking place on December 2, 2012.

Amazing!

Here is a little more about Stephanie and Stephen:

we were set up on a blind date nearly 5 years ago while we were still in college. I knew from that first date that he was going to be the man I spent the rest of my life with.

I’m an interior designer and Stephen is a manager for an auto mechanic shop while finishing school for civil engineering. We have a long hair chihuahua named Tico and a cat named Autumn.

Congratulations Stephanie and Stephen!

Styled Wedding Shoot – Tangerine and Turquoise Wedding

A Styled Wedding Shoot is a great source of inspiration.  This Styled Wedding Shoot at L’Auberge Saint Gabriel is certainly no different as it’s all about tangerine and turquoise wedding. The team at Telegraphe and  L’Auberge Saint Gabriel worked on this creative photo shoot, they chose the theme of a Jay Gatsby wedding, the famous bachelor beau (in reference to the Baz Luhrmann movie, in theaters in December 2012).

Vanessa Sicotte from Damask & Dentelle, Leslie Passerino from Kréavie, and Charlotte from TELEGRAPHE established the choice of colours according to this year’s trends – Tangerine Tango orange and Peacock Feather blue with a few touches of gold, silver and tan. Vanessa took care of the decorative concept and design, Leslie was in charge of the culinary design for the sweet and savory tables and Eric Gonzalez prepared a flavourful and delicious menu.

Feathers can sometimes be overdone.  We feel this centre piece with the feathers incorporated looks elegant and sophisticated without being over done!

We love the Tangerine and turquoise wedding theme.  It’s well done without going over the top.  Love the use of the orange as well. Tiny little accents can make for such a pretty touch!

Great wedding inspiration
