We are a team of passionate photographers and videographers who always strive to create something new each and every time. The goal of this styled shoot is to put together great talents to inspire others and let them know that sometimes “less can be more”.

We sought out some of the most talented professionals with which to collaborate to bring our minimalist approach to this bridal editorial to life. With many vendors working together for the first time, we are extremely excited to put all the pieces together to achieve the modern and minimalistic look through this editorial.

When we were selecting a venue in which we would carry out this modern and chic minimalistic shoot, the Waterfall Building was the first that came to mind. This charming little gem offers us a unique backdrop of grace and timelessness. Natural light fills the space to help us achieve a simple and unprocessed look. As you can see, our theme colour of this shoot is the trendy teal with coordinating shades of blues and soft greens. Marika Beise from Rock Paper Square event planning, décor and styling pulled our vision together with delightful elegant touches from the dining and cake table to the exquisite and cozy lounge area. Simple yet eye-catching florals by Dushan Flowers spread throughout the entire venue, from the rose bridal bouquets to a charming table centerpiece and lounge decors. Tanya from the Le Gateau Bake Shop created a gorgeous three-tier cake topped with an adorable fondant flower to complement the minimalist cake table that Marika has set up. To complete the table settings, Carol Wong, our stationery designer, compiled a variety of invitations, menus, table number and name cards to accompany our simplistic head table.

For our models, Keely Anderson from Glossed Studio gave them a simple natural look with a sleek high pony for Naomi West and weightless loose curls for April Blecker. The soft pastel colours complement the stunning Kristyand Cheylene dresses from Truvelle perfectly. The models were then accessorized with classic and elegant diamond rings and pearls from MJ Jewellers Ltd.

We hope that these images will inspire brides and grooms to take a simpler approach to their overall wedding aesthetic to achieve and clean and timeless look.
